Learning promotion during the whole life for labor qualification 
and requalification

            The project was issued by the Department of Development Programs of  S.C. OIL TERMINAL S.A. Constanţa – Department Chief – Armando-Traian ANDREŞOIU – in cooperation with the partner S.C. Work Education S.R.L. Constanta – General Director – Adriana ARGHIRESCU.
The total amount of project is 67,395.00 EURO from which the non-amortized financial loan from the European Union is 53,395.00 EURO.

General aim: The economic, social potential increasing of the south eastern region by promoting learning during the whole life for qualification, re qualification of  labor   according to National Development Plan.
Specific aim: Increasing of competition and adaptability of human resources and their productivity at work by organizing training courses – for qualification as fire fighter servant – for S.C. OIL TERMINAL S.A. Constanţa employees.
Aimed group (groups): 57 of S.C. OIL TERMINAL S.A. Constanta’ employees with experience and physical training terms for servant firemen from 1292 operative employees.
Final beneficiaries: S.C. OIL TERMINAL S.A. Constanta, the largest Romanian petroleum terminal in Black Sea area, together with port operators and Black Sea area population, due to material losses risk diminishing and lives losses, occurring after fires or explosions.
Expected results: training of at least 57 servant firemen with 57 certificates recognized at a national level.

S.C. OIL TERMINAL S.A. Constanta is the largest Romanian operator in Black Sea area, specialized in crude oil handling, having three storage farms provided with a total capacity of 1,700,000 C.M. shore tanks, loading/discharging capacities (rail platforms) with a 30 km total length and transport pipelines for crude oil and petroleum products laid on 50 km length. This permanent handling of inflammable and explosive products increases the outstanding risk of material and lives losses. In this context, fires prevention and extinction, although an indirect activity, is a most important one, the consequences of a quick and professional intervention in emergency situations being vital.
