Phare 2006 Economic and Social Cohesion Phare Program 2006/018-147.04.02 The project was issued by the Department of Development Programs of S.C. OIL TERMINAL S.A. Constanţa – Department Chief – Armando-Traian ANDREŞOIU – in cooperation with the partner S.C. Work Education S.R.L. Constanta – General Director – Adriana ARGHIRESCU. General aim: The economic, social potential increasing of the south eastern region by promoting learning during the whole life for qualification, re qualification of labor according to National Development Plan. S.C. OIL TERMINAL S.A. Constanta is the largest Romanian operator in Black Sea area, specialized in crude oil handling, having three storage farms provided with a total capacity of 1,700,000 C.M. shore tanks, loading/discharging capacities (rail platforms) with a 30 km total length and transport pipelines for crude oil and petroleum products laid on 50 km length. This permanent handling of inflammable and explosive products increases the outstanding risk of material and lives losses. In this context, fires prevention and extinction, although an indirect activity, is a most important one, the consequences of a quick and professional intervention in emergency situations being vital. |
